Fine Lines Art  was established in 1999 by former badminton partners and friends Myra and Jane. Combining Myra’s gift for pen and ink drawings and encouragement from Jane they produced a calendar of Lancaster in black and white for the year 2000. This was sold locally along with prints, notelets, magnets, keyrings and bookmarks. With a regular pitch in Marketgate over the years they have gained a following of loyal customers.

 

After a few years of black and white they moved onto colour production which proved even more popular. To expand their range of pen and ink work they moved onto some new products such as coasters, placemats and mugs.

 

Now after 25 years they like to describe Fine Lines Art as ‘a crafty mix of art and gifts ’.

 

Here in the Proper Lovely shop as well as the local scene products you can find seaglass pictures, coasters with quotes, handmade cards and little needle felted hearts and sheep.
